Does this affect regular bus fares?
No. The proposal applies only to GLTC Flex. Fixed-route bus fares are not affected. Period passes for example, (31- Day Pass) will not be applicable on Flex if policy is adopted.
Why is the increase being considered?
The proposed fare is intended to support the long-term sustainability and operational viability of Flex and to better align the fare with the cost of providing the service.
Has a decision been made?
No. No final action will be taken until after the comment period. The GLTC Board of Directors will review all public comments, staff recommendations, service planning information, and operational impacts before deciding.
