What are GLTC FLEX service hours?

Service for FLEX operates from 5:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. seven days a week. Sunday hours 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

How much will it cost to ride GLTC FLEX?

The Flex fare is the same as regular GLTC bus fare. Half/discounted fares will be applied.

How is FLEX service different from regular GLTC service?

FLEX is On-demand service customers can access when you needed instead of having to plan a trip with a bus route schedule.

Service is provided in a van that will make short trips within the service area. Riders must plan a separate bus trip to complete any trip outside of the zone.

How do I schedule a trip?

Book trips with the VIA Link mobile app (Apple App Store or Google Play), on the web, or by phone. Pay cash upon boarding the vehicle, or pre-pay through Transit App or GLTC FlexFare App.

What if I cancel or do not show for my ride?

When you book a ride with FLEX you are making a commitment to the system and the driver as a schedule is created to accommodate your trip. If due to some reason you are not able to take the ride, we advise you to cancel as soon as possible. Excessive last-minute cancellations or no-shows can result in the suspension of your user account.

What if I don’t have a smart phone?

For patrons without a computer, smart phone or ability to use the app, you can call (434 455-5080) to schedule your trip through a customer service representative. The representative will be able to give you a vehicle arrival time, along with confirming your pickup and drop off location.

Can I go anywhere I want?

FLEX will only provide service to destinations within the service zone and to other designated transfer points.

Who will be my driver?

FLEX drivers are GLTC employed Operators.

Are vehicles ADA accessible?

All vehicles must comply with safety and accessibility requirements.
