GLTC Transfer Station

The GLTC Transfer Station is located at 800 Kemper Street, adjacent to the Kemper Street Amtrak Station. The facility provides easy access to all patrons from rail to pedestrians to bicyclists from the Kemper Station Trail.

About the Station

The station provides conditioned indoor waiting as well as outdoor waiting for all GLTC bus routes and connections. The station includes customer service ticketing, vending, maps for easy route location.

Conference Room

In addition to passenger amenities, a second floor training and conference room is available for GLTC public meetings, training,  and special programs.

Technology

Conference room is equipped with wifi, Zoom, and projection options for meetings. It also has a kitchen and two private restrooms.

The Transfer Station holds LEED Platinum certification — one of only a few transit facilities on the East Coast to achieve this level of recognition.

Getting Around the Station

The platform has 13 bays where buses arrive and depart, each corresponding to specific routes. Signage at each bay will help you confirm you’re waiting in the right location.
